Bangkok

Video

The people of Thailand are most reverent.  Kindness abounds.  The history in the area is humbling and the food is something to celebrate.  I regretted that I had only four days to explore, but we made the most of it.  I was even treated to a beautiful floral wreath by a street vendor.  Her generosity touched me.  One of my checklist items was to take my own photo of the Buddhist idol head that had been respectfully elevated out of the ground by the roots of a tree.  The highlight was enjoying the floating market…photos can’t do justice to this sensory overload experience.

I arrived at the floating market via a motorized longboat.  We were witness to the families that live along this waterway. Here is a quick video showing our trek.
